FAQ

WHAT IS TASLLON

Taslon is a high-strength PES fiber developed by TAC-TEX, which possesses the following characteristics

 |  High Strength - Tasllon high strength fiber for 5.6~8.0 cN/dtex. Due to low moisture absorption, its wet strength and dry strength is basically the same. The impact strength is 4 times higher than nylon and 20 times higher than viscose fiber.

 |  Good Elasticity - Tasllon fabrics can be almost fully recovered when elongated by 5% to 6%. Wrinkle resistance exceeds that of other fibers, which means the fabric is not wrinkled and has good dimensional stability. Its elastic modulus is 22~141cN/dtex, which is 2 to 3 times higher than nylon.

 |  Excellent Thermal Stability - Tasllon's melting point is relatively high, while the specific heat capacity and thermal conductivity are relatively small, making it the best heat-resistant synthetic fiber.

 |  Enhanced Abrasion Resistance - Tasllon abrasion resistance is second only to the best abrasion resistance of nylon, surpassing other natural and synthetic fibers.

 |  Superior Light Fastness - Tasllon fabrics has superior light fastness, outperforming natural fiber fabrics in UV protection.

 |  Anti-Corrosion - Tasllon can be resistant to bleach, oxidizers, hydrocarbons, ketones, petroleum products and inorganic acids. It has good resistance to dilute alkalis, is mold-resistant, and exhibits strong acid-alkali resistance.

 |  Great Resistance to UV-Rays - Tasllon has strong anti-ultraviolet ability than cotton, silk, nylon, viscose, etc., and it performs well in absorbing and reflecting ultraviolet light and ultraviolet transmittance rate of less than 3% proves its powerful capability to shield ultraviolet ray, even after multiple washes, it maintains a UV protection rate of over 85%.
